Question 84
A person is a truck driver for a company that transports non-halal meat or similar goods. Is his work prohibited, given that he is only the driver and does not own the truck?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
It is permissible to work as the driver of a truck carrying meat that is not lawful to eat. However, it is not permissible to work in the sale of wine or as the driver of a truck carrying wine.
