Question 86
A person works in a health department with many female employees. What is the ruling on men and women being together during work, and what is the ruling on looking?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Men and women being present together in order to carry out work that is religiously permissible is itself permissible. Believing men and women must fulfill the duty of commanding what is right and forbidding what is wrong. As for looking, if it is not intentional, it is permissible.
