Question 75
Some believers work in government departments, in offices of religious authorities, or at holy sites. Necessity and danger prevent them from publicly declaring their faith, so they are believers in secret. May they continue in their jobs?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
It is permissible. There is no problem in concealing their faith if they are compelled to do so or if they hope to achieve something through concealment, such as guiding some people or inviting them to the truth.
