In Iran there are private companies that build houses and sell them before construction is complete. They take part of the price as a down payment and the remainder in comfortable installments over approximately ten years. It is known that the installment price differs from the cash price, and house prices also change over time. May we purchase these houses, and is this type of installment arrangement considered usury?
