Question 93
May spouses completely refrain from having children, with or without a particular reason? May the husband undergo surgery to prevent the formation or flow of sperm?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
They may refrain from having children by agreement between the spouses, and the man may undergo an operation to cut off the flow of semen, but it is preferable to limit themselves to temporary solutions.
