My question concerns chemistry. There is a great deal of information circulating about the 'Illuminati,' who are said to work for the system of the Dajjal and to seek to weaken believers and bind them to this system, including through food and drink. It is claimed that many packaged foods contain chemicals, that cells from aborted fetuses are used as flavoring, that aspartame is used as a sweetener and is derived from bacteria, and that fluoride in water causes bone cancer in men and boys and causes infertility, and that the Nazis used it to make people submissive. These things are described as part of eugenics intended to reduce the population and make people obedient to the system of the Dajjal. There are also chemicals on fruits and vegetables and genetically modified foods everywhere. Some of the Ansar have discussed this as something unavoidable even if people grow vegetables themselves. Is there a solution? Is there something the Ansar of God can do about this? What are your instructions to us?

The information being transmitted is not accurate—may God grant you success. I ask you to be more precise and scientific. For example, specialists know that a very small proportion of fluoride is added to drinking water for the purpose of reducing tooth decay. Yes, an increased proportion of fluoride in drinking water is harmful to children whose first teeth have not yet been replaced. In general, even if adding fluoride to water has some harmful effects, those who add it certainly do not intend harm or injury. Drinking water is ordinarily tested by specialists from the same country, and they, their families, and their relatives will drink that water. How, then, would they knowingly put harmful or poisonous substances into it? May God set your affairs right. As for genetically modified foods, it is permissible to eat them if the food itself is lawful to eat, such as fruits and even the meat of animals like cattle and sheep. As for chemicals or pesticides used, for example, to combat insects on plants, these are harmful substances without doubt. But with the number of human beings living on Earth today, if these pesticides were abandoned without alternative solutions, famine might occur on Earth.
