My seven-year-old son has autism, leukemia, and other serious medical problems. He has received chemotherapy for about eight months with little improvement and has suffered greatly from medical errors. Is it permissible for me to stop his chemotherapy, or would that be unlawful?

It is not permissible unless the specialist doctor advises doing so.
