Question 189
If a believer, whether man or woman, has studied the rulings in Al-Shara'i but suffers from obsessive doubt and therefore does not apply the rulings because of this condition and cannot overcome the self that urges toward evil, is that person sinful despite knowing the ruling? What is your advice to those who know but do not act because of doubt and obsessive thoughts?
