Question 115

I do not know what to do about my studies in Norway. Should I continue dentistry or change my field?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

Continue your studies, but preserve your legal hijab. Exposing the forearm is not a requirement in dental schools at universities ranked among the best in the world; I personally checked this. So I do not think it is a valid requirement or of great importance. I believe you can overcome it by discussing the matter with your instructors, the college or the university administration, or by arranging an arm covering that they accept.
