Question 114
I study dentistry in Europe and have two questions. First, during work and study I am required to expose my entire forearm, which does not conform to the legal hijab you explained. What should I do if keeping my arm covered violates the rules of the dental clinic? Second, while working I treat men and women whose heads must be very close to my abdomen so that I can work properly. What is the ruling on treating male patients in this way?

Legal hijab must be observed, and one should not take up a profession if it necessarily leads to violation of legal hijab. Exposing the forearm is not permissible, so an acceptable means of covering it must be found. There is no problem in treating male patients.
