What is the ruling on women reciting the Quran according to commonly taught tajwid rules in front of men at Quran competitions where some turbaned clerics are present as judges or in similar settings?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Some of the rules referred to are incorrect or unnecessarily burdensome. There is no problem with men hearing a woman's voice, especially for learning or work.
