Question 4
If a person intends to fast, then intends to break the fast without actually breaking it, and later renews the intention, does it matter whether the intention to break the fast was before or after noon?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If he formed the intention to fast, then intended to break it but did not actually break it, and then renewed the intention, the fast is valid whether the intention to break it occurred before or after noon.
