Question 19
The Laws of Islam says that what reaches the internal cavity by a route other than the throat invalidates the fast, except a liquid injection. What does this mean?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
It refers to a liquid injection into a muscle or vein, which does not invalidate the fast. A liquid enema through the anus does invalidate the fast.
