Question 43
If the expected crescent area is cloudy and naked-eye sighting is impossible, should Sha'ban simply be counted as thirty days, or is there another solution?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Other solutions have been explained in several places, including establishing the crescent through a valid sighting in another country, according to the rules already stated.
