Question 73
The Laws of Islam says intercourse is permissible until only enough time remains before Fajr for intercourse and ghusl, but if a person knowingly has intercourse when there is not enough time, his fast is invalid and expiation is required. Must he also make up the fast, and is make-up required whenever expiation is required?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If his Ramadan fast becomes invalid, then he certainly must make it up.
