Question 61

If a pilgrim is forced into an emergency standing at the two stations and the unjust authority prevents him from doing so, is it sufficient for him to pass through Arafat and Muzdalifah by car?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In necessity, passing through is sufficient. If he cannot perform either of the two standings even for part of the time, then he is prevented from completing Hajj and follows the rulings of one who is prevented, which I explained in Shara'i al-Islam.
