Question 24
‘Whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make for him a way out … Allah has set a measure for everything’ ([65]). What is requested is: what is the secret in these noble Quranic verses? Wa’il Saida Safar 1426 AH
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Do you know the secret? This is the question of an obstinate person, not a seeker of truth. Imam the Commander of the Faithful (a) said: ‘Even if the heavens and the earths were closed tight upon a servant and he then was mindful of Allah, Allah would make for him a way out through them’ ([66]). Thus the way out from Allah’s decree is Allah’s measure, law, and unchanging practice that accompanies Godwariness. Ahmed Alhasan
