In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah for His trial and His immense blessings. O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. First, Brother Ahmed’s request to know Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan’s complete family tree is of no benefit in knowing whether Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan is truthful, because his recorded lineage ends at approximately the fifth forefather. Second, you must investigate whether he truly is a messenger from Imam al-Mahdi (a) or not. If it is established that he is sent by the Imam (a), everything he says is thereby established and he becomes a proof upon the people. Establishing the lineage of Imam al-Mahdi’s progeny can be reached only through Allah the Exalted and Imam al-Mahdi (a) himself, because people have no knowledge of it and it is concealed from them.
