Question 73 - The Enlightening Answer Across the Ether, Vol 2

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. His words, the Exalted, ‘O you who believe, do not put yourselves forward before Allah and His Messenger, and be mindful of Allah. Indeed, Allah is Hearing, Knowing’ (^[116]), mean: follow the command of Allah, Glorious and Exalted, which the Messenger of Allah (s) conveyed to you through his testament to obey those vested with authority-the family of Muhammad (a), the twelve Imams and the twelve Mahdis. Do not put your opinions and desires ahead of the command of Allah, Glorious and Exalted. Fear Allah, obey His command, and do not follow Iblis, may Allah curse him, who rebelled against Allah’s command to obey His vicegerent, put himself ahead of Allah’s vicegerent, and did not prostrate with those who prostrated at Allah’s command. He threatened to seduce you and lead you astray from the straight path.
