Question 88
Peace and Allah’s mercy be upon you. A book entitled The Judge of Heaven was distributed in the city of Basra a few days ago. What is His Eminence the Sayyid’s view of this book? May you receive the reward and recompense. Sender: Rahim al-Iraqi
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. In this book, the writer denies the father of Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Mahdi (a)-may my soul be his ransom. He does so in a contemptible manner: casting doubt upon the narrations reported from the People of the House (a) and rejecting them by saying that their chains of transmission are weak. The scholars who do not act use this same contemptible method to deceive the people and distance them from the truth.
