Question 127

Is your announcement that you are the First of the Mahdis sufficient when made in such a limited way? What fault is there in someone whom the announcement did not reach-for example, because he is on the other side of the globe? Sender: Suad Majid Abd al-Nabi

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. How did you know that the call was announced in a limited way? There are now Supporters in many countries of the world. How did they learn and believe if the announcement was limited? There are Supporters in Iran, the Gulf states, the countries of the Arab Maghreb, Egypt, America, Germany, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Britain, China, and other countries of the world. As for one whom the call has not reached, perhaps the reason may be good; otherwise, the Exalted says: ‘Had Allah known any good in them, He would have made them hear. And even if He had made them hear, they would have turned away in aversion’ ([276]).
