Question 359

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. My guardian, my daughter is two years old and is always startled and afraid. If you can give me an amulet or supplication so that her condition may settle, knowing that this condition has lasted for three months because she fell. We have recited verses of remembrance for her, but the condition remains. I hope I have not burdened you with my request. We ask you, my guardian, to supplicate that we remain firm upon the truth, and we pray to Allah for your near relief, my master, because you are the one who prepares the way for our guardian, the Master of the Age-may Allah hasten his relief. Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. Write Ayat al-Kursi and the Verse of Subjection with saffron on white paper. Place it in a plastic bag to protect it from any impurity that might touch it, and attach it to her clothes if possible, or place it beneath her head. Ayat al-Kursi is well known. The Verse of Subjection is in Surah al-Araf, and it is: ‘Indeed, your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself over the Throne. He covers the night with the day, which pursues it swiftly; and the sun, the moon, and the stars are subjected by His command. Surely creation and command belong to Him. Blessed is Allah, Lord of the worlds. Call upon your Lord humbly and secretly. Indeed, He does not love the transgressors. Do not cause corruption upon the earth after it has been set right, and call upon Him in fear and hope. Indeed, Allah’s mercy is near to those who do good’ ([101]). Also, always recite Surah al-Tawhid and the two refuge-seeking surahs for her, particularly at night. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Shawwal 1430 AH
