Question 360
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace be upon my master and guardian, the Yamani of the family of Muhammad, Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan (a). My master, I reside in Jeddah and am originally from Medina. As is customary, there are Husayni gatherings there in which supplications and a jurist’s issues are presented, gatherings for Abu Abdullah al-Husayn (a), and lectures. Social seminars are also held there. The subject of the call is never addressed, to the point that one might think it had not reached them. Is there an issue with my attendance? If I do not attend, it causes issues for me in relation to them because I previously spoke with some of them about the call, and they are now waiting to see whether I attend their gatherings. But I do not know what will happen to me if I do not attend. Also, what about praying behind them? We ask those responsible for the forum to have my master and guardian, the Yamani of the family of Muhammad, answer it. My master and guardian, by Allah, we need nothing but your supplication. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. If you wish to attend their gatherings, your purpose must be to communicate with them in the hope that you may guide some of them. Allah willing, He will grant you a mighty victory. I ask Allah to grant you success, set you aright, and facilitate your affairs toward what contains the good of the Hereafter and this world. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
