Question 361
I saw a gecko fighting with a snake. Then I saw the snake heading toward me, with venom flowing from its mouth like a torrent, wanting to bite me. Sender: Abdullah - Saudi Arabia
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. Both the gecko and the snake indicate an enemy. The gecko, however, indicates a person who openly shows hostility to Allah’s Proofs over His creation, Muhammad and the family of Muhammad (a), while the snake indicates a worldly, materialistic person. Ahmed Alhasan Dhu al-Qidah 1430 AH
