Question 362

My master, my Proof, and my beloved Ahmed Alhasan, peace be upon you. May my soul, father, and mother be your ransom. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. My master, during the blessed month of Ramadan, on the twenty-third night of Ramadan, after I prayed four units to Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent, I recited the visitation of my beloved, the Messenger of Allah (s), in the book Mafatih al-Jinan; then the visitation of the pure, God-conscious Fatimah al-Zahra (a); and then that of Imam Ali-Allah’s peace be upon him. Afterward, I said, ‘In the name of Allah, and there is no power or strength except through Allah. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad and grant them abundant peace,’ one thousand times or slightly more using a Karbala prayer-bead string. I counted using the star of Allah’s prophet David (a). I then returned to my home, turned on the television, tuned it to the Karbala channel of the shrine of Imam al-Husayn (a), held the Quran, and supplicated to the Most High, the Magnificent, seeking His choice. I opened the noble Quran and found these noble verses: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful-from Surah al-Ahzab, pages 424 or 425 through 427. What do these verses indicate, my master? The hair on my body stood on end and my eyes filled with tears when I read them, and Allah is witness to what I say. May Allah send prayers upon our master Muhammad and his good, pure family. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Sender: Khalid - Kuwait

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. You remembered Allah, Glorious and Exalted, on this blessed night. These verses are glad tidings from Allah for you and for everyone who remembers Allah abundantly by following Allah’s successors and walking upon the path of Allah’s guardians, Glorious and Exalted, through Allah’s granting them success: ‘O you who believe, remember Allah with abundant remembrance and glorify Him morning and evening. He is the One who sends blessings upon you, as do His angels, to bring you out of darkness into light, and He is merciful to the believers. Their greeting on the day they meet Him will be “Peace,” and He has prepared for them a noble reward. O Prophet, We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, a warner, one who calls to Allah by His permission, and an illuminating lamp. Give the believers glad tidings that they will have immense favor from Allah’ ([102]). I ask Allah to grant you and the believing men and women the good of the Hereafter and this world. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Dhu al-Qidah 1430 AH
