Question 371
Seeing my deceased father in a dream giving me glad tidings of something: I saw my father in his finest clothing and youthful form, looking in the mirror and saying, ‘There is nothing more beautiful than the Garden.’ He gave me glad tidings of the singing (as printed) of one of my brothers and that an abundant provision had opened for him. He gave me glad tidings that another of my brothers would grow fat, saying, ‘As for so-and-so, he will grow even fatter.’ What is the meaning of the first brother’s singing and of the second brother growing fat? My regards. Sender: Fadl al-Muhallil - Yemen
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. True provision is provision in the Hereafter and guidance to the truth and acting according to it. Growing fat likewise indicates an improvement in the person’s condition in the Hereafter. Ahmed Alhasan Shawwal 1430 AH
