An evidentiary question concerning the identity of the Yamani In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may prayers and peace be upon Muhammad, the Seal, and his pure family. One of the believers directed me to your website and pointed me toward this momentous event by giving me a printed report about Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan and the identity of the promised Yamani. I benefited greatly from this report and the website; may Allah reward him with good. Praise be to Allah, I have for some time been researching the matter of Imam al-Mahdi-may our souls be ransomed for the dust beneath his feet. There were some obscure issues whose explanations by certain sheikhs and scholars did not reassure me, and many question marks remained over them, among them the identity of the Yamani. After examining the report and your website, many veils of obscurity and bewilderment were lifted from my eyes, and many points of truth were placed upon the letters of research and verification. A little research remains, because the report does not deal only with the identity of the Yamani; it also moves on to many other incidental matters, such as criticism, whether direct or indirect, of the religious seminary, the grand religious authorities, and Sayyed al-Sistani in particular. Does he really not believe in Imam al-Mahdi and his occultation? Please provide me with more information about the religious seminary and the religious authorities, and about Sayyed al-Sistani. My other question is: Where is Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan now, what is he doing, when will he emerge into the public arena to lead these masses who love the Imam, and why is there no photograph of him through which to become better acquainted with him? In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send His prayers upon Muhammad and his family, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them abundant peace. The answer in points: Since knowledge has come to you and many points of truth have become clear to you, at the very least you have now attained reassurance concerning the side of truth. Consequently, whatever confronts and opposes that side of truth is falsehood. The Yamani call has no enmity toward individuals; its enmity is toward falsehood and those who call to it. As for al-Sistani in particular, he is called to believe in the Yamani call just like the rest of the people. Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan (a) is present. He used to be among the people, where you could see him and hear from him. What is he doing? He (a) knows his duty best. He will emerge into the public arena to lead the masses after the full number-313-and ten thousand have been completed. There is no photograph of Sayyed Ahmed (a), because he came to call the people to Allah, Glorious is He, and to true monotheism, not to himself. He did not come so that the people would look at him and make him a veil between themselves and Allah, Glorious is He. Noble brother, it was narrated from the Ahl al-Bayt (a), according to its meaning: ‘Know the truth and you will know its people.’ Photographs are not a source for recognizing the truth, and they do not help in recognizing the people of truth.
