Question 411

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. And thereafter: To my master and guardian, Imam Ahmed Alhasan-peace be upon him and his forefathers. My master, I have a request, if possible. I have a brother younger than me who has had blindness or impaired vision since childhood. Allah has now favored him, and he believed in your blessed Call after the blessed month of Ramadan. I ask my master Ahmed Alhasan (a), if possible, to supplicate for his healing or to provide a medicinal prescription for his healing. You and your forefathers are the people of generosity and munificence, so be generous to this poor person with healing. I ask you by the right of your mother al-Zahra to supplicate for us to remain steadfast and die upon this blessed Call. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. I ask Allah to favor him with healing. After the dawn prayer and for forty days, let him recite Ayat al-Kursi according to the revealed order seven times while placing the tips of his fingers upon his eyes. He should also recite Surat al-Fatihah, al-Tawhid, al-Qadr, al-Falaq, and al-Nas over a cup of water seventy times, and then wash his eyes with this water for seven days. He must not let the remaining water go to an impure place. May Allah grant you success. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Dhu al-Hijjah 1430 AH
