Question 434
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, O supporters of Allah. What is the ruling on a woman going to a male doctor if there is no woman in the same specialty? May Allah grant you success in supporting the Riser of the family of Muhammad (a). Sender: Narjis - Iraq
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. If the treatment entails a forbidden act, such as the doctor looking at a part of the woman’s body he is not permitted to see or touching it, then it is not permissible except in necessity. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Late Safar 1431 AH
