Question 449
A question came to me from one of the brothers concerning shaving the beard under dissimulation: is it permissible or not? Sender: Abu Hud
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Shaving it with a razor is impermissible even under dissimulation. If what he means is trimming it with a machine while what remains is still called a beard, it is permissible. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Jumada al-Awwal 1431 AH
