Question 451
A request for forgiveness from the beloved of my heart, Imam al-Mahdi Muhammad ibn al-Hasan, and his dutiful son Ahmed Alhasan-peace be upon them both. My master and guardian, peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you, and my warm greetings to your father and your pure sons. Your lowly servant, J. Gh., asks pardon and forgiveness. You know best what issued from me today when I answered a questioner with an answer to which I did not pay attention until one of the supporter brothers-may Allah preserve them-alerted me. Since that time I have been angry with myself and unable to enter the InSpeak room to serve you, out of shame and contempt for my wicked self for what issued from it without my noticing it until the supporter brother alerted me. Yet it was a stab by which I stabbed your eminence-by Allah, without noticing, my master. I ask my guardians and masters for pardon, forgiveness, and satisfaction with me. What issued from me will never issue from me again for as long as I live. I seek refuge in Allah, ask His forgiveness, and repent to Him. May Allah help your heart against what issues from opponents who deny your right and what issues from us. Pardon, pardon, pardon, my masters. I entrust you to Allah, with whom trusts are never lost. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah reward you with good and grant you success in every good. I ask Allah to grant me success in fulfilling your rights and not to fall short toward you.
