Question 480
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. After believing in the Call of Imam Ahmed Alhasan, I began explaining the Call to other believers. On one of the days of Ramadan, I spoke with a friend about this Call from night until the predawn meal. After the dawn prayer we spoke a little, then slept. The next day after breaking the fast, he told me that when we began to sleep, he said to himself, ‘My Lord, I do not believe in this person named Ahmed Alhasan, so show me a dream concerning the truth.’ He said: ‘I saw as though my brother, my paternal cousin, and I boarded a large taxi with several people to visit al-Husayn (a). When we reached Karbala and the dome and minaret of the shrine of Imam al-Husayn (a) became visible to everyone, we got out for inspection or something similar and were delayed a little at that point. I asked one of the inspectors to let us go visit al-Husayn (a), and the inspector said, “You have a long time ahead of you before you will be able to visit.”’ End of the dream. About a week later, this same friend told me he had seen a dream: ‘You entered my house. After greetings, we sat down, and the place changed so that we were in an official setting. You were seated upon a chair with a table before you. A program presenter from one of the channels was present.’ My friend told me in the dream, ‘I know this presenter and the television channel, but now I do not know them.’ This television presenter began preparing to conduct a television interview with me. Meanwhile, scholars among the followers of Martyr al-Sadr II, followers of al-Sistani, and other scholars entered to debate me. They sat opposite me with a table between us. I said, ‘In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and …’ and looked into their faces. My friend said, ‘I said to myself: You will say, “and the Mahdis,” but you continued looking into their faces.’ They stood to greet you. The first was a sayyid among al-Sadr’s followers; he greeted me and stroked the back of my head. Then the others greeted me and left. End of the dream. Please, I want an interpretation of the two dreams, especially the second. I hope Sayyed Ahmed Alhasan will interpret it. May Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis. Sender: Abd al-Sattar - Spain
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Visiting Imam al-Husayn (a) means allegiance to the one whose allegiance Allah has made obligatory upon you in your time. The meaning of his having a long time ahead before he visits is that his faith will be delayed beyond the time of his vision. Yet the image of al-Husayn-that is, the Husayn of his time-has become completely clear to him. He saw the dome and the two minarets, meaning that the proof has become binding upon him and the evidence has become clear to him. The second vision conveys an unseen report of an event that will occur with you. May Allah direct you, grant you success in every good, and make you among those who remain steadfast upon the truth and supporting the truth. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Dhu al-Hijjah 1430 AH
