Question 481

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. On the morning of Friday, 21 Ramadan 1430 AH, at approximately six in the morning-that is, after sunrise-I was asleep. The vision, if that is the proper expression, contained no image at all, only a beautiful voice that repeatedly said to me verbatim, ‘Imam Ahmed Alhasan the Yamani.’ It kept repeating. I felt indescribable comfort and happiness. Suddenly, I awoke and still felt that happiness and comfort. I then went back to sleep and saw a person-or rather, a person’s head repeated, meaning two similar and identical heads-wearing a white turban and looking at me from the side of his left cheek. I did not see his body. He looked at me with an uncomfortable gaze, and someone told me that this was Imam Ahmed (a). But within myself, I believed that this person was not the Imam because his appearance was uncomfortable and his gaze likewise. Afterward I awoke from my sleep. I ask Allah to forgive me and you. Note: I have felt the expansion and happiness I felt only three times in my life. The first was today, when the voice repeatedly spoke the name Imam Ahmed Alhasan (a). The second was several years ago, when I performed the night prayer and awoke in the morning with the same feeling. The third was approximately fifteen years ago, during the month of Ramadan. I heard the call to prayer in the voice of an extremely beautiful caller, as though from the Garden. He reached the third testimony and said, ‘I testify that Ali is the guardian of Allah.’ At that moment my father awakened me, while the caller to prayer at the mosque was giving the call and saying, ‘I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.’ End. May Allah make us and you steadfast. Sender: Abu al-Zahra - Kuwait

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. Your vision is from Allah, Glorious and Exalted. It represents the two cries that accompany the Call of the Riser: Gabriel’s cry and Iblis’s cry, or the cry of truth and the cry of falsehood that follows it. Your vision therefore contains support for the truth and a warning to you against the cry of falsehood that you hear from the people of falsehood. By every means, they try to obliterate the cry of truth and prevent a person from following it, using doubts and drawing a false image of the caller to truth, so that they may support their master Iblis, misguide people, and distance them from the truth. Thus, this vision is an explanation from Allah to you that first you hear the cry of truth, which directs you to follow the truth and the caller to truth. Afterward you hear the cry of falsehood, which tries to distort the true image for you and show you the caller to truth in a distorted, imaginary, and unreal image, in order, if possible, to prevent you from following the truth. You must follow that toward which the People of the House (a) directed you: listen to the first cry of truth and avoid the second cry of Iblis and falsehood, which you hear upon the tongues of his guardians among humankind and jinn. I ask Allah for you to attain victory over yourself and Satan, follow the cry of truth, remain firm upon the path, and not be among those who perish by following the cry of falsehood. May Allah protect you from that. So praise and thank Allah, who let you hear the cry of truth in the month of Ramadan and during blessed nights and days through your acceptance of the cry of truth and rejection of the cry of falsehood, so that Allah may increase you from His grace. He is the Hearing, the Knowing. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Dhu al-Hijjah 1430 AH
