Question 612

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, who guided us to this, for we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us. Prayers and peace be upon Muhammad the Trustworthy and his pure Household, the Imams and the Mahdis. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon my master and guardian, the Yamani and Riser of the family of Muhammad (a), and upon your household and your chosen sons, the Mahdis. My master, I saw a vision in which it was as though I entered the shrine of my master and guardian, Abu Abdullah al-Husayn (a). With me were my children-three boys, Ali, Ahmed, and Abbas-and my daughter Fatima. Many people were in the pure shrine. Then the people dispersed, and I remained in the pure shrine speaking with Imam al-Husayn (a). After a little while, the door of the pure shrine opened, then the noble grave opened, and I saw Imam al-Husayn (a) lying in the grave. He extended his hand and spoke with me. I do not remember everything the Imam (a) said, but I remember that he spoke to me concerning my children and said something meaning that a battle would occur and that my son Abbas would participate in it or be killed in it; I do not remember exactly. Then I went out running joyfully, telling the people, ‘Imam al-Husayn (a) spoke with me,’ and calling out to my son Abbas to tell him the words of Imam al-Husayn (a). When I told him the Imam’s words, he laughed and rejoiced at the Imam’s words. This is the vision, my master. If you permit, please interpret it. Know that I presently have one son, Ali, and praise be to Allah, I am now pregnant. My husband and I hope Allah will provide us with a son whom we will name Ahmed, and that they will be sacrifices for the Mahdis (a). I implore you, my master, by your generosity, to supplicate for us that Allah provide us with righteous, believing offspring who support Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, so that our faces may be bright before al-Zahra (peace be upon her). Pardon me, my master, for writing at length. May Allah relieve you and establish you soon, by the right of al-Zahra. We ask your pardon for our shortcomings, for you are a noble one from the sons of the noble ones. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Sender: Umm Ali - Iraq

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. May Allah grant you success in every good. I ask Allah to bestow upon you the good of the Hereafter and this world. Allah willing, your vision contains much good for you. Allah is the Patron of success. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. Ahmed Alhasan Rajab al-Asabb, 1431 AH
