In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you. O Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. My master and guardian, Sayyid Ahmed Alhasan, may the best prayers and peace be upon you, your fathers, and your children. To proceed: I want to ask whether it is permissible for a human being to make a testament donating his organs after his death. Must I make a testament that one of the supporters be present at my death to recite the talqin or perform the funeral prayer? Thank you. Sender: Umm Amir - Iran

Accepted Answer

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, the Imams and the Mahdis, and grant them peace. A human being may make a testament donating one of his organs, or even more than one of his organs, after his death. Allah willing, he is rewarded for this matter if his donation is to a believer or to an entity that delivers it to believers. Allah is the Guardian of success. I ask Allah to grant you success in what contains the good of the Hereafter and this world. He is my Guardian, and He takes charge of the righteous. You are not obligated to make a testament that one of the supporters be present to recite the talqin, but it is better. May Allah grant you success and direct your steps aright. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
