Question 159

If a house is inherited and a person owns a share of it, can it count as a residence such that the place is considered the person's watan?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

It may be considered the person's watan if the person lived there for six consecutive months or more and the person's share is suitable for the person to live in.
