Question 97

The term 'gesture' is frequently mentioned in discussions of prayer. Is the intended meaning its ordinary linguistic meaning-gesturing with a body part such as the head, hand, eye, or eyebrow-or is there a special method when a person is compelled to use gestures in prayer, such as a naked person, someone stuck in mud, a person lying on the side or back, or someone unable to bend for bowing and prostration?
