Question 41

Sometimes many earthquakes or tremors may occur on the same day or even in the same hour. Is one Signs Prayer sufficient for them, or is a separate prayer required for each earthquake?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

One prayer is sufficient. The tremors that occur after the first earthquake are usually aftershocks of that same first earthquake. Even if they are not, one prayer is sufficient for several earthquakes occurring on the same day.
