Question 87

Is it valid in prayer to recite the letter nun as mim in the Qur'an, for example reading "anba'" (أنباء) as "amba'" (أمباء)?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

It is not valid to recite it as mim. However, if its pronunciation comes out close to mim during recitation, there is no problem with that.
