Question 45
What if there is dried blood or a blackened spot on the skin caused by a wound or bleeding on one of the limbs of wudu? Does that affect the validity of wudu?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
The place that is washed or wiped must be pure. If purification is not possible because it is an unhealed wound or a wound over which blood has clotted, then it is covered or wrapped with cloth and treated as a jabirah.
