Question 92
In major istihada, is combining two prayers with one ghusl obligatory, or may the woman separate the prayers? If she separates them, must she perform five ghusls? And if no blood comes out after the ghusl for the noon prayer, for example, must she also perform ghusl for the afternoon prayer?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
She is not required to combine the prayers. If she separates them, she performs ghusl for each prayer. But if no blood comes out after the ghusl, she does not have to perform ghusl again.
