Question 10
Sometimes we deal with a Hindu or Zoroastrian person who shakes our hands or serves us tea and food at a restaurant, company or another place. He may wash utensils, touch us with a wet hand, or enter our homes as a carpenter, painter or other worker and touch various things. What are the limits of dealing with such people in terms of impurity? Do we need to wash, perform wudu, or purify the place and objects? What about eating and drinking, whether he prepared the food himself or merely carried it?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
So long as Hindus and Zoroastrians believe in the existence of God Almighty, they are not judged impure. Therefore, there is no problem if such a person touches you, your food or your utensils with transferable moisture.
