Question 147
If a small piece of flesh or skin is cut or separates from a living person, such as from around the fingernails or elsewhere, what is its ruling with respect to impurity?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
Flakes and small pieces of skin that separate from a living person as a result of wounds, sores, burns, bruises, inflammations, or from the ends of the fingers or the lip are pure.
