Question 114

A person who cannot afford the price of water, or for whom paying the price would be harmful, has the ruling of one who has no water. Does this mean such a person must also search for water over the prescribed distance in easy or difficult terrain, or is the intended ruling simply that the person's duty is tayammum?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

The duty in those cases is tayammum.
