Question 112

May Salat al-Wahshah be performed one or two nights after a person's death if someone did not know about the death or burial in time?

Ahmed al-Hasan Response:

It is permissible, and the deceased benefits from it, God willing, but it does not replace charity or the prayer performed on the first night.
