1. Is it permissible to play billiards in public halls and pay a fee for playing, not as a wager? 2. Is it permissible to open a games hall for PlayStation, billiards, and other games and charge those who play, given that some players make wagers and some do not?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
1. It is permissible. 2. It is permissible to open a games hall. If the owner believes that some people are playing for wagers, he should display a notice explaining that wagering is not religiously permissible.
