Question 77
A person bought land with an interest-bearing loan from an Arab bank, without knowing the bank owner's position toward the truth. He added savings from his work to the loan amount, so the money became mixed, and later sold the land for half its value. Is there any problem with the money obtained from selling the land, and is anything due from him after he has repaid the loan?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
There is no problem with the money he obtained from selling the land.
