Question 87
A person works for an institution that edits and verifies books-for example, jurisprudential books recognized by them such as al-'Urwah al-Wuthqa, or books of narrations. May he continue working with them?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
It is permissible, but he should avoid books of misguidance and should not work on editing, publishing, or assisting in publishing them. With regard to the book al-'Urwah, it is better for his religion to avoid it. If he can specialize in books of narrations, that is better for him.
