Sometimes my department assigns me to rent equipment, such as a loader, and allocates 300,000 per day. If I find someone who will rent it for less, may I keep the difference?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
It is not permissible. The correct course is to return the surplus because it is public money owned by everyone.
