Question 155
May we eat and drink in a household when we know their livelihood comes from their son and that the son earns money through forbidden work such as selling drugs? If they insist that we eat and drink there, what is the ruling?
Ahmed al-Hasan Response:
If you are certain that all of their livelihood comes from forbidden or illicit wealth, you may not eat from it. If you do eat, give in charity the value of what you consumed.
